I'm gonna post a lot of the stuff I wrote in English class this semester. I'm shortening them up a lot but keep in mind I was writing them for a grade at the time. I still want to post them though cause then it makes my writing feel a little more worthwhile.

This is basically the extent of my artwork (besides photo). I made this a year ago, but I just gave it away to my friend who went to college for her dorm. I thought I'd document it before its gone.

I'm kind of miserable at the moment.
And I don't want to start applying to colleges. There are too many.

This may seem like a selfish thing to do. But here's my wishlist. This is in hopes that someone out there might have extras of these sitting around that they no longer need. If anyone can give me something listed I'll be sure to repay them in whatever they're look for and so forth. I may also direct people to this list come christmas and birthday.

 Do you have a drinking problem? Do you believe your crappy childhood exempts you from having to be nice to other people? Is "enraged" the only emotion you are capable of feeling? Do you make twice as much as me, yet still need to borrow money a week after you get paid? If so, I am the lady for you! I'm a queer femme who enjoys being yelled at, ignored, and told what is best for me. I'm short, thin (maybe that will trigger your teenage eating disorder issues! Feel free to blame me!), and smart (unless you find that threatening! In which case I am not as smart as you!). I do have clinical depression, which I manage with medication and, ideally, a steady supply of judgment from you. I'm looking to continue along my current dating path with someone who is immature, unpleasant, and bad at listening. Bonus points if you:

-fetishize my mixed-race background, use it to impress your liberal white friends, and know exactly what "my people" are doing wrong
-make "ironic" racist jokes
-are a spoiled-ass mama's boy
-have no friends of your own, preferring to use me for all of your emotional needs (if you must have your own friends, I would rather you use them to cheat on me and/or commiserate about what a terrible girlfriend I am)
-hate fat people (although I am not fat myself, I love it when people rip on my friends and expect me to agree because of my genetics)
-understand that being an asshole and apologizing for it later is exactly the same as not being an asshole in the first place
-use "non-normatively gendered" as a synonym for "teeming with internalized misogyny"

Hopefully we can build a lasting relationship and maybe move in together so that you can decorate the apartment with old beer cans filled with cigarette butts and containers of half-eaten takeout food covered in fruit flies. Don't worry, I'll clean up after you. I'd prefer if you are white and middle-class so you can lord it over me all the time. Physical age unimportant as long as you are emotionally 9 years old. Your pic gets mine!!!

Ok, so I only have maybe 15 friends on lj that I don't know elsewhere, but I'd still like to get to know those people better.

The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about each other. I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me, something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away. Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

I'm not really in a writing mood so we'll see how this one turns out.
But right now I want to talk about causes and organizations and how shitty a lot of them are.

First example "Manna creative collective". Myspace here  how cute? I fell for it. They had a booth at Cornerstone and told me some crazy statistic about how all the big chocolate companies use "blood chocolate" and the cocoa is farmed by enslaved children on the Ivory Coast. I didn't have any reason not to believe them so I listened and signed up for their newsletter. And then I went back and told my dad about them because he works in the chocolate business. I stood and listened as he told them how he has traveled to the Cote d'Ivoire and knows for a fact that M&M Mars does not support child slavery and works along side the villages and the cocoa farmers for sustainability. The couple at the booth didn't even listen! I don't understand this cause at all! They're supporting another organization called Stop the Traffik which I have no reason not to trust... but if there's already an organization doing that work why do they need another one?! And another one that is spreading lies and pointing fingers at companies which they have no idea what their policies are.

Ok, I think I'm ending this here. I just don't like how everyone has been glorifying organizations lately. I don't want to say whats bad and not but you can decide for yourself. Ones that I know for a fact a billion of my friends support... TWLOHA, just google it, supposedly they handle their finances in pretty shady ways. I'm not saying anything, just warning you.

There is one cause I will endorse, and thats Faceless International. I've gone on a trip with them and know their heart is in the right place.
